Financial Breakthough

We & our business have been greatly blessed financially as well as in all other aspects of our lives.
What I want to share is what happened to us & the business during the current financial crisis.
Our company has been in business for over 40 years.
To back track a little, during the 1990 recession we came very close to running out of work. One morning while crying out to the lord for help I distinctly heard his voice shout “ JUST LEAVE IT TO ME “ So I did & we went through the rest of that downturn with plenty of work & profit.
Back to the present. Last year the financial crisis hit us hard and at the same time the church was about to buy our new building. For the first time in the companys 40 year existence we completely ran out of work. Although financially sound we had to be extremely cautious with finances. Also at this time the lord told us to give money to the church building fund. We did this of course.
We told all our staff and subcontractors that we would be fine, that our silent partner was working on things for us, AS WHEN GOD IF WITH US NOTHING WILL DEFEAT US!! Not only did we win 9 large projects in the next week to keep us more than busy but we were offered more projects (to date close to 60) that has enabled us to bless a competitor and keep him and all his employees in work subcontracting to us to provide the overflow that we could not handle while most of the building industry has been breaking even or losing money on the stimulus package work, we have actually been profitable.
What we are saying is that you can not give to the Lord without being swamped by His gratitude.
